OPEN HOUSE, SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 21, FROM 10 AM TO 4 PM
ERE 132, the Centre for Excellence at the Reford Gardens / Jardins de Métis, is holding an open house to celebrate the recognition of the ecological house as a LEED Platinum residential building, the unveiling of the new work of art, "Faire croître", by sculptor Jean-Philippe Roy, and to launch the new digital platform, "ERE 132: Building is choosing" developed by a team from the CDRIN (Centre de développement et de recherche en imagerie numérique) in Matane.
Emmanuel Cosgrove, co-founder and director of Écohabitation and a team of guides from the Eco House will welcome visitors and provide information on the house and its construction. The open house will be held on Saturday, November 21, from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is free. ERE 132 is located near the main entrance to the Reford Gardens, 200 Route 132, Grand-Métis.
Mr. Cosgrove is also Senior Green Evaluator, LEED Canada for Homes. He leads a team of evaluators who ensure the certification process across Quebec and will definitely offer you good advice. "Faire croître" was created as part of the Politique d’intégration des arts à l’architecture program that allocates 1% of the construction budget to a new work of art.
